Kill'em all off?

A fight with Stone where they can't win, can't run might be fun. They 
might even win, but they'd be so weakened that they won't be 
adventuring again.

Another option would be to see if someone in the group is interested in 
taking over the Marshall duties. Plan a final adventure to take the new 
Marshall's character out and wrap up any mess you don't want to hand 
over to him, and leave on a high note!
