Re: [DL] Reloadin'
One idea (not sure of the existence of a rule for reloading multiple guns,
but try this):
Since you presumably need two hands to effectively reload a gun, do what one
often sees in the less cinematic westerns. Have the two gun kids tuck one
of their pistols in a belt (or under an arm, or whatever) - then it's sort
of like drawing the pistol again, of course.
If they want to go for the fancy stuff like tossing a gun in the air, I
would either require a certain added degree of success on the Speed Load
attempt, or else possibly assign a certain amount of cards in the initiative
count before they have to be ready to catch the gun. The latter option
makes it particularly hard for them to pull off the manuveur, though, since
the posse member almost has to have a card up his sleeve to be sure he's
ready to act when the gun drops.
Just a few ideas (they might be crappy ones - I'm pretty tired today!)

Hey all,
I have had several two-gun kids in my posse and them reloadin has always
been a problem for me. Right now they load both guns in one round. I've
never put much thought into it and just let them. However, now I'm wanting
to change it. Does anyone know of a rule in Law Dogs or the Marshal's
handbook about this?
My players don't have a problem getting a bit more complicated. What they
suggested was that they use gunplay and throw one gun in the air, slap a
full cylinder in the other one, then catch the first gun when it comes down.
I've done some FATS and never had a desire to throw my gun anywhere!
So anyway, I'm looking for some suggestions out there. Unless there's an
actual rule to cover this. Thanks all.
