That is called a Limited Use License for the Duration of the Author's
Permit. It is not JOINT OWNERSHIP! You do not have to OWN it to use it.

As for doing it for me... I never asked for it, I don't want it, I don't
need it... not at this high a price to freedom of the author over his or
her intellectual property.

What you want for a submission is unreasonable. That was what I said, and
what I meant. I advise all creative people who have made Deadlands
products to look over the DRC for illegal use of their property.

As for this mail... it is never stupid to protect creators and dreamers
from their hope for the work to be seen and appreciated. Often the hope is
so great that they will give away the work without ever realizing that they
lost it all to some "well meaning" person who later realizes he can make
money off of it and screw the artist. Several big businesses operate that
way in the world. The Music Industry is one of the big one, and one of the
frames you are building upon.

Maybe you are not clear on the theft you are conducting... may be you
are. I don't know. But if I ever find my work on your sight I will hire a
very expensive lawyer and file suit against your theft of my property. You
may only have the limited and revocable right to my work, and only in
writing. I do NOT give it at this time and revoke any with you I may have
ever given by incidence or by direct application. I hope that is clear.

And yes, I think that it is appropriate to let all of these fine, hard
working folks know they have rights that you are not inclined to tell them
about.
