It seems like forever... ;-)

Our run hasn't been continuous -- we take breaks to try other systems, let
other GMs flex their brains, etc. -- but we've been playing since very early
first edition.  How long has the game been out?  It took maybe a year for me
to find Deadlands, buy the books, and start the game after initial release.
We've got one character left from the original posse, and he's got something
like 10 Grit and an 8 in a fistful of Shootin' skills.  And that's with me
beating the chips outta the posse almost regularly!
