Well...from what I've seen that is true, and I have a few theories on why.
It could partially be that LARP is more of a "social interaction" type thing
instead of a "let's go kill stuff" type thing (tho it depends largely on the
games and who's running them).  It could also be that a lot of LARP girls
(myself included) are old drama geeks...or it could be that LArP is a
"gateway game", and can lead to other things.  Who knows?  It's not like we
all get together on the Mother Ship and compare notes...oh wait...we
do...I'm just not invited to the meetings anymore...

Eh.  I've said too much.  Blame the pain meds.
