[DL] the uniforms of Confederate military units in the Weird West...

This is something i have been working up for my campaign, so your milage may vary... and for those interested i have been working on drawing uniform recognition files for this as well.

   The Confederates have learned a few things fighting and living in the weird west and adopted the use of Tan (or Butternut) coloured uniforms in the late-1870s whereas in our timeline the US didn't till the late-1880s or so near the end of the Indian wars, and in time for the Spainish-Ameircan War. These uniforms are most commonly refered to as the Butternut Uniform since the colours so resemeble the butternut coloured uniforms worn by the Confederate army units at the start of the War of Southern Indpendence.    I am still working on the standard weapons carried by Confederate Cavalry units out in the weird west... I had thought of equiping them with Tyler Texans and Tyler Alamos as standard... but i'm still trying to find something that would be a Confederate equal to the Spenser Carbine carried by the Union Cavalry during the Indian Wars. if anyone has any suggestions please let me know..     You'll probly notice i use the names Union-Pacific for Union Blues and Confederate-Pacific for Dixie Rails in my campaign... I use these names to sound more offical, and since I don't have to worry about getting sued by the Union-Pacific Railroad for publishing my campaign changes i have done so. So please dont get offended by the reference.
The Uniforms of the Confederate Army: 
Infantry, hot and dry climates: Infanty units have been increasingly been assigned out west to assist the Cavalry in protecting vital Confederate assets (be it protecting the rail heads of the Conderate-Pacific Railroad, aka Dixie Rails, or garrissoning forts that protect the 'Ghost Trail') saw the need for uniforms that where better suited for the weather conditions of the South-western Confederate States of America. Cotton-wool blend known as butternut seemed to the be best choice for unifroms as was descovered by the Confederate Cavalry regiments who had been sent out years before.  Their unoffical uniforms have became the standard for wear by Confederate forces assigned to the Weird West.    Enlisted, Dress Uniform: khaki kepi, dark khaki shell jacket, khaki trousers, brown boots, white gloves, brown garrison belt.     Enlisted, feid uniform: light tan slouch hat or khaki kepi, light tan shirt, dark khaki trousers, tan leggings, russet brogans (ankle boots), large light blue bandana, tan cartridge belt, tan suspenders.     Officers, Dress Uniform: khaki kepi, dark khaki frock coat, dark khaki vest, Khaki trousers, white dress shirt, black carvat (necktie), brown boots, brown garrison belt, white gloves, light blue shash.   Officers: light tan slouch hat or light khaki kepi, dark khaki sack coat, light tan shirt, khaki trousers, brown boots, tan cartridge belt, light blue shash (if worn), large light blue bandana.    Greatcoats: Infantry wear a dark khaki greatcoat with light blue lining. Please note that the enlisted greatcoats are single breated, while officers wear double breasted greatcoats.

Greatcoats: All calvary personnel wear a double-breasted dark khaki greatcoat with yellow lining.    Saddleblankets: dark khaki with dark yellow edging and the initals 'CS' at each corner.
   Confederate Cavalry Guidons are swallow tailed Red over Black horizonial bars with "CS Cavalry" on the Red Bar in black letters, and The unit identifer on the Black bar in red letters.    Confederate Infantry Guidons are swallow tailed Blue over black horizonial bars with "CS Infantry" on the blue bar in black letters, and the unit identifier on the black bar in blue letters.

Confederate Navy and Marine Uniforms, hot and dry climate: The Confederate Navy Secertary was able to conveince Pres. Davis to send regular navy personnel to the maze, they brought with them naval versions of the 'butternut' uniforms worn by the Confederate Army in the weird west. Due to the use of female privateers by the Confederate Navy, and Adm. Brigham being allowed to commission those privateers he felt would follow Confederate dictates loyally the CSN was the first miltiary force in the Americas to allow women frontline commissions (though this is debated by the Texas Rangers who have allowed women rangers for some time prior). Thus uniform designs for female personnel where also undertaken with minor modifications.  This was followed closely by several cavalry units providing uniforms and commissions for the 'independent' female 'scouts' they had previously employeed to help them keep track of Indian movements. This has not been well received by east by many, but it works out in the weird west and that was all that mattered to the powers that be.   Navy Enlisted, dress uniform: light khaki hat, light khaki jacket, white pull over shirt with light blue collar, black tie, light khaki trousers, brown dress brogans, white leggins (if worn), white garrison belt (if worn). Navy Officer, dress uniform: light khaki hat, light khaki frock coat, light khaki double breasted vest, white dress shirt, black cravat, light khaki tousers, brown dress brogans, white gloves, brown garrison belt.    Navy Officer, work uniform: light khaki hat, light khaki frock coat, light khaki double breasted vest, white dress shirt, black cravat, light khaki tousers, brown dress brogans, white gloves, brown garrison belt.
