Well, it could be the Sheriff's reputation.  I mean, look at Wyatt Earp; he
hasn't done anything particularly bloody and yet he's able to 'manufacture'
relics unknowingly.....


I noticed something off the bat though, you refer to the sheriff's
levelheadedness, but you didn't include that in the relic's powers.....

ps  Oh yeah, the the person that asked about silver plating costs, I think
Law Dogs states that silver plating a pistol increases the cost of the gun
300%.  So, if I read this right, a $15 gun would then be $45 for being
silver plated.  All I remember is for sure is when I made my 'sissy cowboy'
rig (two pistols with LOTS of bells & whistles) it came to about $180.
