Subject: [DL] Marshal in need
Hi all
As I wroted before Im a marshal running a game, but I all of a sudden have
gotten a probelm, the players are in the end of an adventure (Ghostriders)
So tomorrow when we play they would start by compleating that, and then
what??? I got lots of adventures laying around, planning to run, but havent
gotten the time to prepare them propperly (One of them involves a riverboat,
a Big poker game, and a lot of faul play) but dose anybody out there have
any easy going hooks I could use the rest of the time tomorrow???

Whenever you complete an adventure of any length it's a good idea to give
the posse members some downtime so they can spend some of those hard earned
bounty points and whatever sawbucks burning in their pockets. In the interim
they can hit the local saloon for some gossip or swing into Miss Kitty's
Cathouse for some R&R. This same R&R time could be applied to preachers
giving sermons, mad scientists tinkering with their next creation and
hucksters perusing their copy of Hoyles in search of new hexes. A period of
downtime also allows you to advance the storyline of your saga by a couple
of weeks or even a month. Many campaigns revolve around the seemingly
endless conga line of lethal encounters with the supernatural, don't let
your campaign fall victim to this rut. Mix in completely mundane events that
have nothing to do with the Reckoners and their minions. Your posse'll thank
ya for it.
