Smoking cigars and chewing tobacco (well one guy 
chewing, and did that during every game), puntuating 
a sentence with a puff of smoke or a dribblet of 
brown stained spit added a bit to the game.

Drinking out a shot glass (if you stick with pop, you 
will end up pouring pretty often.)

players brough in copies of hoyles and the bible, and 
one guy playing a charecter with a fondness for 
sweets would bring along a cheap bag of the older 
fashined kind.
