Wilkinson-Webley Repeating Revolver Mk.I:
Rather than deal with the "Pepperbox" design of the standard "Gattling Pistol" Webley decided to work with a variation of thier own Revolver, only making it larger. This weapon is a large, nine-shot, break-open revolver with a cartridge removal system similar to that of the S&W No. 3 "Schofield" design, and has a removeable wooden foresstock underneath the barrel that is used to help deal with the recoil of weapon, and protect the mechanism. It's design makes it easier to work with than the Gattling Pistol, but the three less shots can be telling. While designed by Webley, the Wilkinson Sword Company is the manufacturer of the weapon, as they have more access to both Ghost Steel and Ghost Rock. While not officially apart of the British Military Weapon Catolgue, as it is legal for British Officers to purchase their own weapons (Provided they're in a calibre used by the British Military), it is starting to become somewhat common. It entered production in 1875, and was almost immediately popular! Development of a "Speed-Loader" is currently underway.
Cost: $900 Canadian/$1100 Confederate (Plus Shipping And Handling from England!)
Reliability: 18
Wilkinson-Webley Repeating Revolver Mk. I:
Ammo: .455 Webley
Shots: 9
Speed: 1
ROF: 3
Damage: 3D6
Range Increment: 10
Reloading: Due to the Break-Open design, two rounds can be loaded into the weapon per action, three with a Fair (5) Speedloadin' roll. After loading, it takes once more action to "Re-Wind" the weapon.
Malfunctions:
Minor: What the???: The cylinder revolves completely around, and no shots happen. It takes one action to rewind the cylinder.
Major: The Break-Open Mechanism activates, and throws all your rounds onto the ground. Time to reload!
Catastrophe: Ghost Steel Spring Snaps: You now have a heavy club until it's replaced... Which means a Hard (9) Tinkerin' roll and some High Grade Ghost Steel, or purchasing it from Wilkinson (At about $500!). Replacing the Spring also requires a Onerous (7) Tinkerin' roll. If the poor Sodbuster has "Bad Luck", well, then the gun blows up, doing 3D6 to his gunhand (And his other hand if holding onto the Wooden Forestock!).
