Re: [DL] Hucksters and Hexslingin'
what no one is saying is that the spell casting has had some name changes.
hexslinging is now also what the shootist does, thats why it's in lone
stars. the shootist is the huckster that casts spells on or dealing with his
gun[s]. he can learn huckster spells also and vice versa.
hucksters, that cast hexes using cards are covered in the revised rules
players book, hucksters and hexes, and in hexacana. the players book has
most of the spells and the basics for casting the hexes. H&H, adds more
spells and more background, and clears up some items. hearcana revises all
the rules to make things easier. under the newest rules, hucksters don't
have to gain levels in each spell, just under casting; hexslingin.
like all in dl, which rules and how many you use is up to you. if you want
all the rules with the lastest eratta, then you need all 3 books. if you
want to have a shootist, then you need law dogs and lone stars also. law
dogs gives some of the background, lone stars brings the rules up to date.

ALL of the revised Hexslingin rules, including clarifications, plus a ton of
great Texas Rangers materials.
