Re: problem with toxic tunes cd & lost colony [SHANE] was:Re: [DL] DragonCon reminder
the toxic tunes disc doesn't play at all, so that's $8 lost not counting the
shipping. 8 blank pages, 6 of which are from the background story telling
how hoe has changed up thru lc; and the table of contents page which is
where u look to find what's where in a book. also 1 of the pages is the
publisher's information. if i'm not mistaken, the book isn't legally allowed
to be sold without that, since it has no copyright, or authors credits. i
told the store to tell this last part to their supplier, if they give them
problems trying to return it. :-))

Yup. I seem to attract slightly irregular books, and PEG has been very
good about replacing them... I'm also being reasonable and not quibbling
about some things... for example, my LC has a weird defect where a
corner of one page got folded in during printing (it has the borer on
it!) but it's not worth reporting it... after all LC is inteded for
playing not sitting on a shelf.
Now, if I ordered the DL leatherbound hardcover, I'd be much more
critical...
