Patrick, I definitely think the book is worth it.  We
own a copy, and it's been a great reference both for
the players because of the pictures, and the Marshall
because he's got some more unusual weapons to put in
various shops.

In addition, if this is the book I'm thinking of,
there is a page of rules in the back of the book for
adapting the weapons to the DeadLands system.
