I still wonder if it should be based off of grit or guts.  Since, IIRC,
the only way to get grit is to fight off supernatural creatures, that
means anyone who has fought a bunch of abominations would have an
advantage over the cold blooded killer who has only gunned down a dozen
marshalls in the middle of the street - while, personally, I think they
should be even.
