Western Kenjetsu will be quite similar to Martial
Artists, a bit like Shootists to Hucksters (good analogy) not only because of
differences in style (One is fists and the other is swords) but also in
philosophy and goals (The Western Dragon Society at least is actually actively
fighting the Reckoning) and perceptions. Heres the actual edge
itself:
Western Kenjetsu Training (3)
Your hero is one of the few who has been trained by the Western Dragon Society in the art of Western Kenjetsu. What this means is your hero can now purchase the Fightin': Western Kenjetsu aptitude and the exotic techniques learnt from having it. However he also needs to choose his Sensei (I'm working on them!) and also picks up a 4 point Obligation (To serve to Society's ends). If you really want to turn bad guys into High Plains Puree purchase Arcane Background: Enlightened to open one hell of a can of whopp-ass. Of course to do this you'll also need the chi aptitude but the powers you'll get are worth it! I suppose a character could spent nine Edge points
to get Martial Arts Training, Western Kenjetsu Training and Arcane Background:
Enlightened but I'd treat picking up Enlightened powers like Syker-Fu (They only
get their Chi to spend on two lists of powers instead of one)
