I wouldn't say that the character _cannot_ have those Hinderances. Instead, I'd make it so that something undesireable (and temporary) happens whenever the character gives in to their more unsavory traits, to reflect their newfound moral/ethical dilemma. Or perhaps require that the player spend all Bounty Points on A) buying off any of the Hinderances below, and B) purchasing the Heroic and/or Law of the West (and Loyal?) Hinderances.
