 Ahh, dearie me.  My studies of your Earth-culture lead me to believe that
 he was utilising a form of humour known as "sarcasm".  See, he was pointing
 out that a person who pretends to be a cowboy making fun of blokes who
 pretend to be saloon gals hasn't really got a leg to stand on.
