    That sounds like Joseph Chamberlain and his Maine infantry regiment
holding Little Roundtop in Gettysburg.

    A few other movie ideas:
    The original Magnificent Seven (another might be the Seven Samurai on
which it is based.)

    For those Marshals wishing to explore the seas of Deadlands, I would
recommend TNT's The Hunley.  It is particularly frightening if you have
issues with claustrophobia.
    For mad-science:  the 1999 Wild Wild West.
