[DL] Gunsmithing once again & Marshal chips
I subscribe to digest & didn't want to hunt for the relevant posts....
To the person that suggested a gun bunny with a high gunsmithing being able
to design a custom gun, but having an actual gun company build it, thanks!
I didn't think about that (guess my modern world mentality got in the way)
but it does make sense that a gun company would do so. Heck, look at the
Buntline.
Marshals hoarding chips over adventures: I personally don't do this ('cuz I
have to spend them like water), but I do use the rule that under certain
fear levels, the marshal draws extra chips (ie: luck of the card draw) so I
usually have tons for chips to ruin the posse's day. Oh, & as for the
marshal that did the Total Posse Kill (might have been in HoE) More power to
you!

Oh! Forgot to chime in with the Huckster Talisman revision. I think that
is doable; I've complained to my party of players the hassle Hucksters get
for that particular hex. I mean, how exactly to you determine if an object
is suitable? To me, any time a huckster/hexslinger/shootist/whatever
focuses his power through an object, & does so frequently, then if you ask
me, it applies under the talisman hex's rules. One player disagrees. Or
what about Earp & his badges? What is so gosh darned special that he's
never been shot at that makes his badges special? Maybe we need some hard
rules on that. How about if a PC has a Renown of a certain level, then some
item of his has the potential of being affected by the Talisman Hex. Just a
thought........
