i feel for you, i really do.  That's a bad situation, made worse by being
handled in a juvenile manner.  Unfortunately, it's happened before, i
have heard similar stories on more than one occasion, so i'd have to say
that like it or not:

1. These people are not your friends.

2. These people don't even like you, though they may be civil.

3. They want you out of their group, have for some time, and are not
interested in any changes you are willing to make to get back in.

4. Rescheduling game night and making your character the butt of in game
jokes has been done so many times by so many spineless GMs that it's
cliche -- you are not alone in having to deal with this situation.

i am sorry if this sounds harsh, but experience tells me it's probably
the truth.  Personally, i'd rather get my gaming fix online, then have
'friends' like that.  Find a new gaming group, there are plenty of them
out there, you'll be glad you did.
