[DL] using another story...Spoilers

I haven't written in a while and decided to go ahead
with an idea a friend told me about.  Using
"Desperation", by Stephen King for a story.  I haven't
read all the way to end of the book yet.  Tommorrow I
will be finished with the book and need the ideas
then.  The setting might be set up in modern times but
that doesn't mean it can't  be run in DL times or a
little later in the future, anything to make a story. 


Now, the story will not be ongoing after the tail is
finished.  It will end with Desperation.  I'm thinking
of naming the town something else.  SOmething that
would fit the Word...maybe something like Unfaith. 
That should set a place my experienced players want to
bash up.  Tak, bash up ha ha ha  Tak!

ANyway, anyone who has read the book or has run a game
around a Stephen King story or story idea let me know
how it went and how you improvised.  These are
experienced players.  Tak is a...can't tell it'll ruin
the book he he he.  send me some thoughts.
