Hi, nice application of the ol' liberal arts degree in your "injun" post.
BTW, it's Hohokum, I spoke with a 75 year old catholic priest of mixed
heritage at the San Augustine del Tucson mission in Tucson a few years back.
I believe his name was Father Manuel or somesuch, he was the mission's
senior archivist and librarian and even though he was in his seventies he
was still sharp as a tack and very helpful. I barely had the heart to tell
him what the research was for. He was even able to give me some info on the
Tahona O'odham, like I said very knowledgeable. Also, I don't remember
seeing any references to the Pima indians which I believe were also in the
Arizona region.
