[DL] Need evil marshall ideas .... SPOILERS

Ok, there aren't really any spoilers here, but there
could be, so I'm not taking any chances ...

My group has been playing for a while, and the main
villains have been dispatched.  Now the group
(characters, not players), are drifting apart (they
have there own quests to follow).  To accomidate this
I'm running a series of one shot adventures, where a
player plays his character, and the others get npcs
with similar goals.

The group is:

A huckster (classic), who has been invited to join The
Court (he's from New Orleans and has the Baron as an
enemy).

A munchkin ... ok, she's a new player, her bf built
her character for her, and I although it will look
overwhelming, it hasn't been.  It's a
Blessed/MA/Were-cat.

A metal mage who is on friendly terms with Hellstrome.

A dynamite saleman, who even though he has no ABs, is
one of the biggest weirdness magnets of all times
(literally, he's travelled through time more than once
accidentally).  He is trying to be a Ranger.


Now I've already completed the one shots for the
Huckster and the kitty.  I will be doing the one shot
for the MM this weekend, and the Ranger-wannabe when I
order/get the new ranger book.

What I've been wondering is what do I do after all the
one-shots are done, and I ended up slapping myself
silly.  I had the perfect oppertunity to tie all the
one shots together for a coherent new plot, and I've
been letting it pass by.

So now I'm looking for ideas to tie the various
one-shots together, and give the group focus again.

The one shot's played so far was Perdition's daughter
for the Huckster.  The group also had 2 of Mina's
witches, and 2 court members.  This was the first time
I managed to completely trash a group (I love the
updated Lady Carstairs).  The huckster was the only
one who survived unmaimed.

For the kitty one shot, I had her and a few Explorer's
Society members head off to Mexico to rescue a mummy
from Aztecs and French Foreign Legion (long story
short, the mummy was a hybrid aztec/eqyptian
ex-werecat mummy, and had a cure for the were-catism
... in a previous adventure a deal was made with the
mummy for the cure .. it was going to get it when it
was captured).

...

Took some time off from finishing this mail.  Just
completed the MS one shot.  The MS, working for
Hellstrome, went to Tombstone, Arizona, to stop the
witches from destroying the Baron's Railhead and
pinning it on Hellstrome.  Instead, history has
remained the same, and the witches pinned it on the
Mexican army.

Not sure what to do with the Ranger adventure yet.

What I've been thinking of for a tie-in, would be for
the Ranger to find a letter from Lady Carlstairs
(first one shot) to the Baron (or vice versa), saying
something to the effect, as soon as his allies get the
mummy essence, she will teach him the secret of
immortality, or somesuch.  Ergo, when the Baron learns
the posse individually had a hand in ruining his grand
scheme, he will be on them as spots to a leapord.  He
has been a villain in the background, but now he might
take a more active roll in their destruction. 
Alternatively I could do something with Mina and her
folk as the villains.  What zany ideas do people have?
