well...
I'm a man, and when I first joined this list I got
flamed by two people in particular because of an
opinion I expressed and it started to blow up,
thankfully I did the mature thing and ignored future
e-mails from the parties in question

the fact that multiple people have kept this little
flame war going for days now, filling my mailbox is
getting really sickening
sure I have a delete key, but just because it's there
doesn't give people an excuse to keep this banter
going

if it were up to me, everyone who contributes to this
little flame war from this moment on would get
forcibly unsubscribed
i don't know how it started, i don't care how it
started, and i don't care why it has continued, 
JUST STOP IT

maybe everyone involved should just step away from the
list for a week or two and come back... 

who is the more foolish, the one who gets riled up at
baseless insults on a listserv, or the one who posts
insults in response?
