This morning, I received my copy of Lone Stars. Can't really give a feedback yet, since I was just flipping through the pages on my way to work - but I saw a paragraph that mentioned something about Richmond going up in flames last _summer_.
Which would mean that the book itself is written from a viewpoint in 1879 (or late 1878).

Another question: General King writes about the reorganization, as he thought about it in the latter half of 1876 - so I guess he put it into action in 1877, allthough AP Michele agreed to the plan in fall of 1878.

When will the detailed description of the War be published? In Epitaph 4 or 5?
