I thought the same thing for a while until one of my players actually played
a Huckster. I watched him go for 6 turns trying to pull a descnet hand to
cast Soul Blast. He managed to not pull anything 3 times and just pull an
Ace twice(wooo 1D4 Wind), finally he pulled a descent hand. Too bad it
also included a joker and the resulting backlash did more damage to him then
he did to the poor thug he was trying to take down.
Meanwhile the Texas Ranger, Preacher and Gunfighter managed to put
down/incapacitate the other 30+ crazed cannibals.
