SPOILERS - Esp for my posse
Well, I use it all the time. I that is where the
posse got started. And even though they are now in Oz
(Downunder - not the prison portrayed on HBO - I ain't
that sadistic!) they are still dealing with Richmond,
Mr. Davis, and his "elite" guards. And they ticked of
Mina Devlin as well - but they don't know that yet.
(Maybe someday I will write more chronicles.)
Anyway, I guess I'm trying to point out that even
though the posse may be FAR FAR away from Richmond, or
Atlanta, or Greensboro ;-), the book still provides
ample opportunity to influence thier lives.
Which brings me to my question. I just had a PC (Will
Shaw) go all "sqirmy-demon-in-my-head." His pappy was
also Harrowed. His pappy - an outlaw who was gunned
down infront of his stunned son - was also a
confederate spy. So the rebs did the right thing by
him, and buried him in a certain cemetary in Richmond.
Thus he joined the Nightwatch.
So, eventually his Will is assaulting a Confederate
fortress outside of Gommora. Davis happed to assign
his father to this outpost, and Will kills his da -
this time for good. Inside is a portal that the
Confederates are developing to move massive amounts of
people quickly - IE a portal through the hunting
grounds. Due to the nature of such a portal moving
troups is really impractical: You need an experienced
guide, people tend to become unhinged on the trip,
etc.
BUT Davis decided to give this technology to the
British. They can use it to ship criminals to the
Antipodes, amking Transportation economically viable
again. In exchange Davis gets thier help in the War
Between The States.
Anyhoo..... So - any good ideas for running the
harrowed dream / fight for dominion. The posse
wrapped him up and tossed him in a river when he died,
so I think it will start with him drowning. I want to
somehow trick him into thinking he might still be
alive - at least for a while. Then have a
confrontation with his father.
