Actually there were a "few" speed-loaders made during the REAL 1880s.
But they were VERY rare.
One such speed loader was made for Webley revolvers and you can find
a photo of it in the book about Webley.
There was another speed-loader made, and it was for Colt, you might find
a photo of it in Sutherland.
