[DL] That's BULLARD Express!
Sorry about that folks I didn't have my book with me so I got the
name wrong. With the proper name and a little research I answered my own
question. It turns out the Bullard company was only open from 1886-1890 so
there is no way that the BE should be in the Deadlands timeline. Of course
individual Marshals may want to put the company into business a decade
earlier if they like. For those of you who care the express seems to have
been a 6 shot (not 11) but the power depicted in Deadlands seems accurate
given the .50-115 bullet. I apologize if someone has already cleared this
issue up...I'm on digest.

P.S. Here is some of the info I ran across

Teddy Roosevelt's memoir Hunting Trips of a Ranchman tells of discarding his
"50-caliber, double-barreled English express" in favor of "a .50-115 6-shot
Ballard express."
