I think the Chaosium game was Nephilim - translated
from a French original.

This Celtic stuff is all rather fun but I am very
cynical about the whole modern pagan/Wicca scene - it
may be based on something real and ancient but it is
as 'seen through a glass darkly' - based on old
accounts and stores and modern wishful thinking and
trendy popular environmentalism.
