[DL] Faeries/Sidhe in Deadlands - a touch of Changeling

Hey,

Just wondering if anyone has had any musings about the
existence of faerie/sidhe in Deadlands. A number of
fae folk are mentioned in Back East: The South alone,
and as I've just purchased that particular book, it's
got me to thinking about sidhe and all things faerie.
One idea I'm running with is that the Hunting Grounds
is just the Indian term for a broader spirit world
which covers -everything-.

I'm personally developing an image of the Hunting
Grounds which is very much like the Enchanted World of
Changeling: the Dreaming. The nature spirits that aid
the Indian peoples are regular fae, whereas the
manitou are a variant of the Dauntain. The Reckoners
are simply the noble Dauntain. (For purposes of this
post, the Hunting Grounds and the Enchanted World are
one and the same).

When the Old Ones went into the Hunting Grounds to
wage war against the Reckoners, they had the
assistance of powerful nature spirits - the noble
Seelie. The Old Ones then swore to remain with the
noble Seelie to help keep the unSeelie at bay. When
Raven and the Last Sons entered the Hunting Grounds
and slaughtered the Old Ones, they allowed the
Dauntain to gain the balance of power in the Hunting
Grounds. Raven swore his loyalty to the Dauntain in an
effort to rid the Indian lands of white man -
traditional followers of the Seelie. Unfortunately, 
the Dauntain harm the Indian people as much as the
white man, but Raven does not care anymore. the rest
of the story you know...

Keep in mind I'm only taking this from the very
limited knowledge I have of changeling: the Dreaming.
The Changeling Quickstart Guide was very helpful, but
if anyone can take this ball and run with it, I'd be
most appreciative.
