Wow.
Well this has never really come up but if I had a player saying this I
would carefully weigh my options and then consider an alternative course
of action.
Like smacking him upside the head with that spittoon from the other
thread!
This is a game of imagined interaction. If he wants every little
moment, motion, and meandering charted out he should go play a Wargame.
And I have seen this type whining while playing those too. Abuse of
power? Hardly. You made a good call considering the setting. Common
sense says that little critters like that probably _would_ hold onto a
person even if they missed thier mouths.
Unfortunately sarcasm would be my first responce to this. "OH wait..
you're right! Those poor ticks never made it to your mouth. They
politely climb back down your front and sit waiting in their designated
zone for when you stop moving and then attempt to climb back up when
you're sitting still at the end of the round because you are out of
movement."
Of course this is often less than helpful. :)
