Wotc wouldn't like it, but use them for character creation.  Cards numbered 1 to 14 for ace through king. Draw 7 cards, add 4 each of the values, gives you a range from 4 to 18 (jokers are worth 0) to apply for primary characteristics.

I'm sure that others will come up with more, better uses for the card deck. (oh the answers this could get on the OT list.)
