You can't go wrong with PEG's original vision of the Weird West. I'm not
saying the d20 version isn't without merit, it's an excellent adaptation chock
full of d20 goodness but it's just not as (for lack of a better word)
inspired. DLd20 lacks much of the flare that comes through the language, i.e.
raises, going bust, dead man's hand, etc. and the core d20 system comes off
lacking without all the DL paraphenalia like decks of playing cards and poker
chips.

My advice, use whatever makes you and your players happy but if you're looking
for my honest opinion stick with DL Classic it's a winner.
