[DL] Deadlands d20 Wierd Wars Comparison

I know this isn't the "Weird Wars" list but I thought it a pertinant
question anyway.

I'm about to run Wierd Wars, and things got a little fuzzy. So I stopped
sniffing the book glue and read a little more.

Why is it that suppressive fire in Deadlands D20 uses the Innocent
Bystandards rule, but wierd wars does not? Do you think it was just an
oversite, or is it intentional?

On a completely different note, Should the standard German Sniper really be
only a CR1?
