[DL] DL Background up to 1878 help

Hey all,

I've just started planning a new Deadlands campaign
after a three-year break. I'm way behind on the events
of the Wierd West. Can anyone help me with (or point
me to a site that has) a comprehensive, summarised
background up to 1878?

I'm working from DL hardback rules, Quick and the
Dead, Smith & Robards, Law Dogs, City o' Gloom and
Book o' the Dead. 

Any recommendations on what I should pick up next? I
was thinking Hexarcana, The Collegium or the Gomorra
book. I'm angling for a more steampunk aspect to the
game and any help would be appreciated!
