As stated in Fortress o' Fear, Capt. Jasper Stone served with the 13th
Alabama during the battle of Gettysburg. His own men hated him, so much
so that they ambushed him and killed him after he pulled his sidearm on
them for refusing to follow his suicidal orders. Of course, on July 3,
1863 the Reckoning happened and Stone came back Harrowed, in full
possession of his manitou, and looking for revenge. He hunted down and
slaughtered his men.
