RE: [DL] Re. My Turn to Complain
Ok guys I am over it.
And no it was not a bad idea since I had a play test set of the rules
provided to me months ago as a play tester, but they were not complete (No
damage charts for guns etc.) and was hoping to get our official non-play
test game going that weekend since our standard campaign was on hold for the
month of August.
As I said, we did just fine. My only complaint was someone at PEG telling us
it was being shipped the next day only to find that according to UPS's
tracking system (Which is not clear is not accurate) was not shipped until
Friday. I am working with Lee on the issue to see what happened so lets move
on. I am not bashing PEG or the people their, they have always been the best
to me since the very beginning, and they make the absolute best games on the
market. I was simply frustrated that someone told me one thing and did not
come through on it.

I'm really not trying to pee in anyone's Cheerios here, but doesn't it
seem like a bad idea to base a gaming session around a game you don't even
HAVE yet?!? After my share of not-so-great experiences with ANY kind of
shipping, I would take the safe route and plan to play a game that I KNEW I
could play! In short, UPS might be somewhat at fault and possibly even PEG,
but it seems that the real fault here lies with the folks planning the game.
Really. It's a game. There IS always next week, yes?
