My guess would be in relation to size/maturity. Most original power-abusers
were young boys, with "little voices"; hence the relation to the munchkins
in Wizard of Oz. A mental munchkin, etc.
Me, I have lots of names for 'em, all relating to peculiarities, and game
systems. In "modern" games, they're ussually Gun Bunnies, or Turtles.
Hack-n-slashers for fantasy games.
