Yes, if the posse's sharp enough, I suppose. One route would be through
Redeye Dawson--the zombie on the train. Digging deep enough into his past
might put them on the right track.

However, the original adventure had a few more clues that had to be cut due
to space requirements (it was my first piece after all <g>). I no longer
have the original manuscript handy, but I believe one of the original clues
lay in the ghostrock boiler itself. Such trains aren't so common as to be
already dilapidated wrecks...

Other than that, you could use your imagination--but remember, LaCroix is
going to erase most traces of his fingerprints. Nothing obvious, in other
words. ;-)
