I DO feel that it has been effective.  I don't see a problem with you being
"Allan the guy what posts to the DL list" and having a different account for
"Allan the Deputy/ListMod".

It is an effective way for us to tell which hat you are wearing, and
therefore what posts we can reply back to jokingly/honestly/etc. and which
ones we shouldn't.

<grin>  It also allows you to sit back and have a little fun, and post a
"mitu" post because you are feeling a little uppity...
