Wow! ISBN Number for "...and a 10'pole" ?! I actually tried to get a copy of
GURPS OLD West this morning from my local store - they'd had one for the
best part of a year - and they sold it about an hour before I got there.

The character in question has 4d12s in Strength and Vigor, and the Brawny
Edge. It's a heroic freed black slave, who wanders from town to town, so it
might be necessary for him to carry the gear occassionally. The thought
occurred that he could have a ghost steel anvil - which has lots of
potential...
