I've got three different ones.  

A character was up against a Mohave Rattler.  He lit up a bundle of dynamite 
when one of the rattlers tentacles grabbed his leg, rather than fight it he 
dove into the rattlers mouth.  His thought here was he had a legend chip and 
would survive (he wouldn't anyways).  The rattler bit him and he spent his 
legend chip, then the dynamite went off...BOOM!!!

Another character was standing on the edge of the Grand Canyon when something 
flew down and stole another charecters necklace and proceeded to fly over the 
canyon.  Even though the thing was twice the size of the character  he 
decided to jump and grab the things leg.  The thing threw him off and he fell 
to the bottom of the Canyon...The player (who plays alot of D&D) then asks me 
how much damage he took?

And finally while being chased by zombies the group comes across a lake.  A 
20' aligator comes out of the lake and begins to slowly approach the group.  
All the charactes run except one who pulls out a pistol and starts shooting 
at it.  The charecter has three rounds to make good his escape, but instead 
holds his ground plugging away at the monster.  The bullets have little 
effect and the alligator bites the charecters leg and slowly drags him back 
to the lake while the rest of the party watches in horror.

What makes this extremely ironic is that all these charecters belonged to the 
same player...sometimes I wonder if he'll ever learn...
