 Spoilers!






 The first death was a blessed Texas Ranger, who died during his first
 game session when he was swallowed by a Big Squiggly Thing From Beyond
 The Veil in the adventure All That Shimmers.  They dragged his corpse
 out of the lava-filling cavern and gave him a decent burial, only to
 have him come back with the manitou in full dominion and start staking
 people to things.

 Second was during This Harrowed Ground, when a gunslingin' kid from
 Back East caught two simultaneous loads of buckshot, one in the belly
 and one in the face.

 Third was a tracker from the swamps, who went toe-to-toe with a wendigo.
 They found his arm a couple of months later.

 Finally, the blissfully ignorant posse made the mistake of stopping for
 a rest whilst crossing the desert near Salt Lake City.  The huckster,
 the only posse member remaining from the beginning of the campaign,
 was bitten in two by a Rattler.  He went out drawing hands for Soul
 Blast and yelling "Swallow THIS!"
