this is my first post here so I hope you'll bear
with me. :-)
I love the Character Generator by Jim Cook, and use
it a lot. Only shortfall I see is that you can't get a list of your
equipment and all too.
I'd like to take care of that with a small VB
program I've been working on. It pulls in the text file created by the
DLCG, and looks for DInero or Poverty and assigns proper starting
currency.
A text file containing the various equipment
available in DL is loaded into an area for buying. it makes a list of the
items purchased, keeps track of remaining cash, and then give you the option to
save it onto the end of the file created by the DLCG.
Would anyone be interested in this or am I doing it
for myself? :-)
Also, any suggestions on what it should do
further? I have it planned to let you select which Sourcebooks you'd like
to have available (although I jsut have the PG, but the equipment being in a
text file makes it easy for others to modify.)
