Speaking of formulae, I came across this little gem the other day:

First, we state that girls require a lot of time and money:

   Girls = Time * Money

And we all know (according to the common addage) that "Time equals Money",
therefore:

   Girls = Money * Money

Or, in other words:

   Girls = Money squared

And we all know that "Money is the root of all evil", thus:

   Girls = (the root of evil) squared

A square root squared cancels out, therefore:

   Girls = Evil.
