Yep...it does look that way. I blame the editor and proof-reader. ;-)

Seriously, though, I'm pretty sure that was my fault.

Actually, it's supposed to be 1878. The _Big_ event that occurred in
Gomorra--at least the first one--took place in mid-1877. The Black Circle
doesn't get rolling until almost half a year afterwards.

The Epitaph can't be faulted for occasional lapses in unimportant facts.
Like dates. ;-)
