I looked around your site and came up with a question. (tounge in cheek)

What do you mean by "Cannons are not common household tools."?
Of people I associate with:
I have a 6 pounder gun
1 friend has a light 12 pound howitzer and a Model 1861 Gatling gun
1 friend has a light 12 pound howitzer
1 friend has a 3 inch ordinance rifle
and I have another half dozen or so acquaintances who own various cannons.

Really, the operation of muzzle loading, black powder artillery with your friends is one of the great joys in life!  If you don't know that, you need to find some folks who can introduce you to it!  :)
