Most 5'3" people who could tear me apart weigh more than 100 lbs... =) (see
prevoiusly mentioned 7th dan Black Belt ).

My point was simply that someone that much smaller than me would need
something extra to scare me (a weapon, clearly vast knowledge of Martial
Arts, or one helluva attitude). I suspect that there is a lot more people in
the world that could give me a good beating than there are people who could
really scare me. =)

Conclusion: Humans are puny, and rattlers are not likely to be scared of
them.
