[DL] Gunsmithing and PC's making guns

One interesting thing that has not been touched upon in the Orange books is
the development and manufacturing of firearms by the character. A new friend
of mine and I were talking about his ideas on it. What is the thought of
this on the list?

Obviously it requires Gunsmithing, Trade:Blacksmith (bonuses for
manufacturer) or the like, and Arcane Knowledge:Mad Scientist would be
interesting, if the player is planning on making or working with ghost
steel.
